Musician Bios

Dylan Schwab

Trumpet / Flugelhorn / Piccolo Trumpet

Dylan Schwab is a trumpet player who is comfortable with many genres. After touring extensively with the Glenn Miller Orchestra, and subsequently several Broadway show tours, he moved to NYC where he has subbed on 33 Broadway shows and held chairs on 9 shows.

Dylan has toured and recorded with such varied performers as Sting, Barbra Streisand, Lady Gaga/Tony Bennett, Yu Sakai and Panic at the Disco!  He is a frequent sub with Orchestra Lumos, The New Haven Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra of St. Luke’s, the Queens Symphony Orchestra, the Knickerbocker Chamber Orchestra, and the New York Pops.

He has appeared on or played soundtracks for Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, SMASH, Annie, the Macy’s Day Thanksgiving Parade, Documentary Now, and John Mulaney & The Sack Lunch Bunch.

Dylan is an alumni of Indiana University, where he studied primarily with John Rommel.
